What Does Filled Knots Mean?

We build all of our tables with real, solid wood, which has natural and real knots.

By default, the knots on the tops of our tables are filled by our carpenters, making the tabletop surface easy to clean. You'll still be able to see the knots in the wood, but you won't have an open knot hole on the tabletop. Knots on our tables' edges and bases/legs are left open for their natural beauty. 

If you'd like to have our carpenters leave the knots unfilled and open on your tabletop, please reach out for a custom order.
